Audio & video. Made for your space.
Smart Installers plans and installs audio and video systems for homes and commercial spaces in New York City and Miami. From a living-room system to audio across several rooms, we connect the equipment with the space and the people using it.
Plan your project
The complete installation
The details, considered together.
The listening and viewing experience
Seating, screen position, speaker placement, room use, and finishes guide the plan. The goal is a system that belongs in the room and works where people actually sit.
Equipment and infrastructure
We coordinate source devices, amplification, display connections, cabling, ventilation, and equipment location. Network needs are considered alongside the AV components.
Controls that make sense
We plan how users select a source, adjust volume, and switch rooms or zones. After installation, a walkthrough connects the controls to the activities you use most.
Before choosing equipment
Start with the right questions.
One room or several zones?
Independent rooms, shared music, outdoor listening, and commercial background audio have different requirements. Decide what should play together and what needs separate control.
What equipment do you want to keep?
Existing speakers, amplifiers, displays, and source devices may remain useful. Model numbers and connection requirements help establish what can be incorporated.
How visible should the system be?
Concealed speakers and wiring affect installation and finish work. Discuss equipment visibility early so the technical design and the room’s appearance support one another.
Upgrades & existing systems
Make the system you have easier to use.
If an inherited AV system is confusing or unreliable, we can review its connections, sources, network, and controls. The starting point is what you want it to do today, followed by a plan for useful existing equipment and any changes needed.

These details help us understand the work. Share what you have when we discuss the project.
- Room photos, layout, and the main listening or viewing positions.
- Model numbers of equipment you want to retain.
- The sources you use and whether rooms need independent audio.
- Any construction, furniture, or finish constraints.
A few things to know
Questions, answered.
Can music play throughout the house?
A multiroom system can be planned for shared or independent listening. Speaker locations, zones, source services, amplification, and network requirements determine the equipment and wiring.
Do you work on commercial audio and video?
Yes. We plan AV for commercial spaces as well as homes. Tell us how staff and customers use the space, who operates the system, and which rooms or areas need coverage.
Can AV connect with smart home controls?
Compatible equipment can be included in a wider automation plan. We check supported controls and integration requirements before promising a particular one-touch experience.
